- The title is a reference to the 1954 popular song "Fly Me to the Moon" written by Bart Howard and the movie of the same name by Summit entertainment.
- People thought it was very likely for Fat Pig to appear, because the planet looks like it is partly eaten, and Fat Pig would be that one who ate it.
- People now think that the Fat Pig escaped from the planet, and is causing amuk in space.
- In the final level 3-10 a Mustache Pig appears as the final boss with the Egg on a spacecraft behind the space needle.
